Inshore Fishing Charter

Looking for inshore fishing action in the Pasco County area? Captain Brian would love to take you out and provide a great fishing experience in his home waters where he was raised. He is based in Hudson, FL, and can charter you anywhere in the Pasco County waterways! We fish for all inshore or nearshore species including Snook,Redfish,  Snapper, Grouper, Cobia among other species. No matter what your skill level is, you are sure to make memories with us out on the water.

If you’re feeling adventurous, offshore reef fishing is a great way to try your hand at more advanced fishing. Some of the fish species we seek in deeper waters include: Grouper, Snapper, and Mackerel. But don’t worry, if you’re new to this, we are more than happy to help you along the way! Our experienced Captain and Crew live for the feel of the ocean breeze and can’t wait to take you out on the water to do some offshore reef fishing.

Tarpon are arguably one of the most popular sports fish around the world and their draw to anglers is undeniable. Drawing fishermen from far and wide, the tarpon inhabiting the waters of Florida are particularly sought - after due to their ability to put up a fierce fight. Boasting traits such as drag screaming runs and incredible aerial displays, tarpon have become renowned for emitting an allure that sports fishermen find hard to resist. A catch of one of these magnificent creatures is truly a rewarding experience for any sports fisherman.

Come on aboard with Capt. Brian, whose main priority is to get you on the fish, anglers anywhere from beginner to experienced. Capt. Brian grew up in Hudson and has fished these waters his entire life. He is one of the few local captains that have grown up fishing in this area. Expect to use techniques like live bait, bottom fishing, spinning, trolling and fly fishing based on the species you’re targeting. Speaking of which, you have the option of 4 to 8-hour trips, where you’ll be fishing for the likes of Snapper, Grouper, Snook, Redfish, Spotted Sea trout, Tarpon, Mackerel, Sheepshead and Cobia, depending on the specific season and the day’s weather.

Your adventure begins on board a 24’ Tidewater bay boat that can fit a maximum of 4 anglers. The boat is fitted with a wireless trolling motor, T-Top for extra shade, and plenty of seating. When it comes to rods, reels, and terminal tackle, everything you need is included in the price. As for fishing licenses, everything will be taken care of by the captain so you don’t have to worry about it. You can keep anything you catch, as long as it’s legal to do so and it will be cleaned and packaged. 


When Captain Brian is not out to sea fishing, he is a firefighter and paramedic in the area.

WHAT ARE WE FISHING FOR?

Red Fish

Red fish are often found in the shallow grasses that are found around the shallow flats throughout Tampa Bay. As the weather cools down in the fall time, red fish can be spotted congregating in large groups known as “schools”. Redfish are considered Florida’s top sportfish.

Trout

Seatrout live in coastal waters that have sandy bottoms. Trout are typically found to have dark gray or green backs, with black spots that go from their tails, up to their dorsal fins. Many people enjoy trout due to its mild flavor and flaky texture.

Snook

Snook fishing is one of the hardest fighting fish inshore fishing has to offer.  They are most well known for long runs and jumps while trying to run your line into structure to break you off. Snook can reach lengths over 40".

Snapper

Mangrove Snapper is said to be one of the toughest fish to catch in the Gulf of Mexico. They can be very sensitive to weather or condition changes, as well as being a hard fight on the line. They are undoubtedly the top fish for table fare, and seemed after many anglers and guides for that reason.

Grouper

Grouper are most well known for table fare just like the Snapper.  They are strong and fighters, and will definitely put up a fight. Grouper fishing on the Pasco coast of FL is unique in ways that there are shallow water rocks where the Grouper live. These Grouper can be caught on live bait or even artificial baits when chummed. Always a great time and rewarding providing a tasty meal.

All Necessary Fishing Equipment

We provide all rods, reels, and bait so that you can catch fish, and not have to worry about the rest.

We Provide a Fishing License

Don’t worry, we have you covered! Captain Brian's licensing covers our chartered guests for a fishing license.

We Provide Water, Sunscreen, and a Cooler With Ice

We suggest bringing sunglasses, a hat, your own snacks/lunch, and non-drowsy anti-motion sickness medicine (if needed). If you bring your own alcohol, please do not bring glass containers.
